Hello guys? Today I'm going to show you how to make a massive 5000Watts power Inverter for a solar panel (battery) array. It takes 72V DC input and converts this into 220V AC for use in domestic AC appliances. Of course you can make minor modifications in the transformer and circuit to allow for much lower input voltages such as 36V DC or even higher voltages depending on the system you have.

The IR2153 IC typically comes in an 8-pin dual-in-line package (DIP-8) or surface-mount package. Here's a brief overview of its pinout and functions:
Vcc (Pin 1): This pin is the supply voltage input. It is connected to the positive power supply rail and provides power for the internal circuitry of the IC.
Comp (Pin 2): The Compensation pin is used to connect an external RC network to control the oscillator frequency. It allows users to set the frequency of the IC according to the requirements of the specific application.
UVLO (Pin 3): Under Voltage Lockout. It monitors the Vcc voltage and prevents the IC from operating if the supply voltage is below a certain threshold. This feature ensures proper operation and protection against undervoltage conditions.
SHUTDOWN (Pin 4): This pin is used to enable or disable the IC. When a voltage is applied to this pin, it can either enable or disable the IC, controlling the output accordingly.
HO (Pin 5): High-Side Output. This is the output pin for the high-side gate driver. It is connected to the gate of the high-side MOSFET in a half-bridge configuration.
LO (Pin 6): Low-Side Output. This is the output pin for the low-side gate driver. It is connected to the gate of the low-side MOSFET in a half-bridge configuration.
Vb (Pin 7): Bootstrap Voltage. This pin is used to provide the necessary bias voltage for the high-side MOSFET gate driver. It is connected to an external bootstrap capacitor.
Gnd (Pin 8): Ground. This pin is connected to the ground reference of the circuit.
IR2153 IC Features:
Self-Oscillating Half-Bridge Driver: The IR2153 is designed to drive a half-bridge configuration, making it suitable for a variety of power electronics applications.
Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO): Ensures proper operation by preventing the IC from operating under low supply voltage conditions.
Internal Oscillator: The IC has an internal oscillator that eliminates the need for an external clock signal, simplifying the design of the circuit.
Adjustable Frequency: The Comp pin allows users to adjust the oscillator frequency, providing flexibility for different applications.
Shutdown Function: The SHUTDOWN pin allows users to easily enable or disable the IC as needed.
