Welcome guys. In this blog I'll show you how to make a simple inverter with just one MOSFET Transistor. You only need three components for this project.
The circuit consists of a self oscillating network. The transformer is a high frequency ferrite pulse transformer. The number of turns across the primary and secondary windings are shown in the circuit diagram. The output capacitor forms an LC tank resonating circuit with the secondary winding producing a pure sine wave Alternating Current at the secondary side.
Zener diode D1 protects the gate of the MOSFET from overvoltage destruction.
The primary side has two windings: one for the power switching and the other is an auxiliary positive feedback winding for enhancing fast turn on and turn off of the Mosfet transistor.
